Cozy mysteries have grown significantly in popularity over the years, often due to an appreciation for the less graphic themes and language used in them. Even within a subgenre like cozies, there are still further subdivisions to be found. One of the more prominent themes in cozy mysteries is the inclusion of pets, especially popular animals such as dogs.

Melissa Cleary: The Dog Lovers mystery series is written by Cleary, and features a professor as the sleuth.

Susan Conant: Conant writes the Holly Winter mystery series which features a dog trainer who is also a writer for a magazine about dogs.

Evelyn David: The Sullivan Investigations mystery series is about an Irish Wolfhound and his mortician owner.

Patricia Guiver: A Doberman Pinscher is the sidekick in Guiver’s Pet Detective series.

David Handler: A Basset Hound features in Handler’s Stewart Hoag & Lulu series.

Sue Henry: Henry writes two mystery series for dog lovers. The first is about an elderly widow who travels with her Dachshund and solves crimes, while the second is about an Alaskan dog sled racer.

Lee Charles Kelley: Kelley’s Continuing Adventures of Jack & Jamie includes a sleuth who trains dogs for a living.

Virginia Lanier: Lanier pens a mystery series about a Bloodhound trainer/tracker/sleuth.

Judy McCoy: The Dog Walker mystery series can also be considered a paranormal themed series, since the protagonist is a dog walker who can communicate telepathically with her charges.

Leslie O’Kane: Allie Babcock is a dog therapist who solves crimes in O’Kane’s series.

With a 2400×600 dpi resolution and a duty cycle of up to 45,000 prints per month makes it a high-quality value. The single downside is that the duplex printing is manual, but manual is better than nonexistent.

Brother HL-5250DN- This Brother printer is network set and promises high-quality graphic and text prints for the small enterprise or household use. There is a fine characteristic called a duplexer which allows you to save paper and the easy to follow setup instructions make installation a snap. At 30 pages per minute production for text, the printer’s speed is decent. There is simply one insignificant catch and that is the paper tray. It can just hold 300 pages which is comparatively small and barely suitable if you’re using it for residence use or running a really small enterprise operation.

That was what brought them together for their first date. The following spring, King proposed to Scott and she accepted while agreeing to support his calling as a preacher. After the incident where Rosa Parks was arrested in 1955 for not giving up her bus seat to a white man, King was called and with Coretta’s permission, accepted the position of leading the boycott against the bus system that propelled him to a more prominent stage in life. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. went on to inspire change amongst his followers by taking action to gain certain civil rights such as the right to vote, the right to gather to talk and the right to march.
