I have faced much insecurity during my lifetime. As a youth I struggled with fitting and with my looks growing up. As an adult I find myself unsure and insecure as a parent and a co-worker. Society today puts so much stress on you that you could explode from pressure.

Essentially, the first section of the book gives great examples as to what tyles of things can cause us to have our insecurities and where they can pop up. These factors include: Pride/perfectionism, rejection, life altering events such as moving, contemporary culture, significant loss, and instability in the home. Moore tackles these issues by using stories from her life, her friends lives, and through miscellaneous stories she has read about through her blog. These anecdotes help all of us to understand better how these insecurities infact CAN affect our lives. Towards the end of the book she gives us some practical and sensible ways that can help us deal with the insecurities that we face. Ultimately, we must find our security in God.

Beth Moore’s book was worth my time. Through her book I have been able to confront my insecurities and it has helped me control the insecurities that arise through relationships and interactions. Moore has a way of opening her heart in this book that is unparalleled. She has a way of sharing her own insecurities to help make you-the reader, feel less insecure by other and more comforable with being yourself. She does this by showing that EVERYONE has issues and is self-conscious. Most importantly, Moore helps you control those self-inflicted thoughts by focusing on strengthening your relationship with God. Beauty must start from the inside.

I was born in late September and my constellation is Libra. The constellation study said that Libras are born artist. I am not sure about this, but I always have an interest in art related things. Robin Williams wrote the book in a very plain but easy way. Her way of introducing the design theory, the typefaces, and the colors, etc. are juicy and concise. Even if as a beginner as I was, I could easily grab what she meant to say. Graphic designing is no easy job, especially for a layman who wants to come up with a professional-look work. Talking about the basics with such great ease is amazing. Naturally, I went to look for other books by the author. Soon I decided my next big reading should be Design Workshop. The reading of Robin Williams series helps to cultivate my passion for graphic designing for sure.

At 30 pages per minute production for text, the printer’s speed is decent. There is simply one insignificant catch and that is the paper tray. It can just hold 300 pages which is comparatively small and barely suitable if you’re using it for residence use or running a really small enterprise operation.
